Legacy Concert
The LEGACY EDUCATION CONCERT will serve as a platform to create global awareness to the plight and challenges of our educational system in Africa and provide ways to improve the system. Our generation is ready to take a stand so we can leave a lasting legacy for the future generation. Our aims is diminishing illiteracy in our society by putting books in the hands of underprivileged teens and children living under poverty and also provide scholarships for students who wish to study but cannot afford it to any institution that accepts their application both in Nigeria and other part of the world which will eventually reduce poverty in Africa also working on building more libraries and improving already existing ones.
Give a Child a book
People’s Dream Initiative “Give a child a book” is a campaign that aims at diminishing illiteracy in our society by putting books in the hands of underprivileged teens and children living under poverty. One of the greatest gifts we can pass over to the younger generations is to instill the attitude of reading by engaging them in activities that promotes reading culture in our society.
Give a child a book fair will bring together children and teens from impoverished communities where we will be given books to schools and students in that community. There will be variety of activities, games and competition that will encourage and motivate them to read so they can become leaders and elevate their communities.
The give a child a book campaign will go into marginalized areas across the country teaming up with local communities, schools, libraries, charity organization and NGOs who are committed to improving education. We plan on giving out over a million books within the next one year to deprived children in all local communities across Nigeria.
Scholarship Fund Project
“Scholarship fund Project“will raise fund to award to over one thousand underprivileged student in the coming year to any school they apply and are accepted into, the scholarship will be from class 1 to the university.
We also provide scholarships for students who wish to study but cannot afford it to any institution they gain admission into both in Nigeria and other part of the world.
We have successfully given scholarship to 12 students presently studying outside the country and 53 students in Nigeria. Our scholarship program is made possible through our various fund raising programs, supporters and sponsors.
Fund Library Campaign
“Fund library campaign” Because the structural symbol for knowledge is a library as Libraries are store house of knowledge and serve as icons for all institutions. The greatest resource of any nation is its human resource and we can only benefit from the potentials and creativity of humanity when they possess knowledge and are educated. That is why our key project is working on the transformation on library system so as to make them more effective in meeting the present demand to improve on the standard of existing libraries and work towards the development of magnificent new library structures across the country.
