This post is the First in the series of The Youth: when people work collectively, they make a difference. Our youths have abundance of energy and passion to create values, and with discipline they will utilize the opportunities they see. Every challenge in Nigeria and in the world over is an opportunity. In whatever it is you want to do, as a youth, you must understand that the bottom of the pyramid should always be the target point of the population. The youth should always aim for the big dream and learn how to start small and get the chance to prove themselves right. In all circumstances, the youth must do the right things, there is no better place to be born than where we were born, so we must create for ourselves opportunities to actualize our dream at where we are. Any little thing we do here will be a success. The erroneous believe of many people is that abroad is the best and the only environment for success, capital ‘NO’ the opportunities are with us abundantly over here. Success in anything you want to do in life is based on many principles and there are many indices behind been successful in life: vision, determination, focus, faith, courage and what have you are the most vital of all. Without determination all the ‘I want to be’ in life cannot be. With a strong determination and vision comes criticism, by naysayers. Don’t be discouraged; keep pushing, one day you shall get there. Don’t always think your vision and determination must manifest and materialize in your life. If it does, fine and good, but just know it’s a bonus from God. Most of the great visions I have known in life manifested and materialized after their initiators. Your visions might be accomplished far after you are gone. The great visions of Dr. Martin Luther king Jr, Mr. Elijah Mohammed of the nation of Islam, the legend brother Malcolm x were fulfilled when barrack Obama became the first black American president of united states. All over the world the youth have two main pillars to their advantage: Education and Knowledge of Technology. Let it be known that the correlation between leadership and mentoring is very powerful. When you add leadership and mentoring to the peoples dream in life you have something very unique. With these the youth can withstand any growth for the actualization of their dreams in life. At the academy of leadership and mentoring (ALMS), PEOPLE’S DREAM INITIATIVE our aim is to liberate the youth and get the humanity in general liberated and we have the initiative for all. The youth must always build their lives on values and fight moral decadence with all their capacities.
